The Krew seemed to be in for a difficult night as they had no substitutes available for the high intensity MCG. Instead, they finally stopped the 'bleeding' and got 3 bonus points for 15 goals. Dylan and Pov combined for a ten goal rampage, but Alvin and Mainland didn't miss out on the occasion as it became possibly the first time the whole team scored. The injured Damo was licking his lips for a piece of the action as he watched in disbelief. The defensive midfielder later said, 'I didn't know what was going on!'

The game started off with each team feeling each other's capabilities. Alvin started in goals and the plan was to play a solid defensive formation with two at the back and one at a more advanced position. It worked well to conserve energy. Dylan's impressive performance from the previous game was continued into this game as he organised the troops with good leadership.

The short dead-lock finally lifted as Pov and Dylan combined for 5 goals in the first half. The Krew never looked back and were never in doubt of losing the game. Mainland once again entered goal due to fitness problems.

With Al on the field, the CAC trio scored another 7 goals before Mainland returned for a piece of the action. There was a period of consecutive goals where the Krew scored each time they gained possession from the opposing kick-off. The Krew used simple triangle plays and frustrating techniques to open up space.

In a different scenario and possibly adding a new weapon to the Krew's modest arsenal of strategies, Alvin reserved himself to last man. This allowed the two attacking midfielders, Pov and Dyl, to receive deliveries from the back whilst Alvin drew the opposition into our half to open space.

The Krew's massive victory was slightly tainted by a flagrant foul from the opposition on Al. Ian (the stupid ref) failed to give a warning and defended the player because he knew him. Also, Pov failed to keep the clean sheet where the opposition's only goal was celebrated by then as if it was a victory.

Peking duck was used to celebrate the massive win.
